A sculptural time machine disguised as a radio station in the desert.
OVERVIEW

Cabina Exuro was an immersive art installation and laser-cut sculpture brought to life through collaboration between the Burner Podcast team and architect Ramiro Martinez. Designed as a triambic icosahedron, the piece appeared in Black Rock City at Burning Man 2016 and later at Art San Diego.

Inside the sculpture, participants found themselves transported into a fully dressed 1940s radio station—complete with antique props, sound design, and theatrical detail. The project combined architecture, storytelling, and performance to create a layered exploration of time, media, and identity.

Arash served as Creative Director, Communications Lead, and the voice behind the station’s vintage broadcast, as well as producing the fundraising campaign that helped bring the project to life.
