OVERVIEW

As Sound Lead for The Journey, Arash coordinated with artists, producers, and engineers to create an evolving sonic experience embedded within a large-scale wooden sculpture. Each day of Burning Man 2017, the installation moved through a different chakra, with sound and color themes aligning to the energy of the day—from Root to Crown.

The Journey was a collaborative project spearheaded by Dan Reeves and the San Diego CoLab. The structure itself became a meditative walkthrough space that transformed daily, culminating in an emotionally resonant burn. Arash's work centered on curating and shaping the energetic progression of the piece through audio.

The Journey was later featured at events across California and Arizona, continuing its life beyond the playa as a mobile installation for transformational gatherings.
